The Buddha Carita (Saddharma-pundarika) by Asvaghosa a famous Sanskrit text revolving around the live and exploits of the Buddha. The Buddha Carita (Buddhacarita) is written in the style of a Kavya (or Mahakavya, epic poetry) and extant original Sanskrit text consists of roughly 1,000 metrical verses.

Verse 10.4

तं प्रेक्ष्य यो ऽन्येन ययौ स तस्थौ यश्चात्र तस्थौ पथि सो ऽन्वगच्छत् ।
द्रुतं ययौ यं सदयं सधीरं यः कश्चिदास्ते स्म स चोत्पपात ॥ ४ ॥

taṃ prekṣya yo 'nyena yayau sa tasthau yaścātra tasthau pathi so 'nvagacchat |
drutaṃ yayau yaṃ sadayaṃ sadhīraṃ yaḥ kaścidāste sma sa cotpapāta || 4 ||

On seeing him, he who was going elsewhere stood still, and he who was standing there followed him in the way; he who was walking gently and gravely ran quickly, and he who was sitting at once sprang up.
