The Buddha Carita (Saddharma-pundarika) by Asvaghosa a famous Sanskrit text revolving around the live and exploits of the Buddha. The Buddha Carita (Buddhacarita) is written in the style of a Kavya (or Mahakavya, epic poetry) and extant original Sanskrit text consists of roughly 1,000 metrical verses.

Verse 5.65

विमृशेद्यदि योषितां मनुष्यः प्रकृतिं स्वप्नविकारमीदृशं च ।
ध्रुवमत्र न वर्धयेत्प्रमादं गुणसङ्कल्पहतस्तु रागमेति ॥ ६५ ॥

vimṛśedyadi yoṣitāṃ manuṣyaḥ prakṛtiṃ svapnavikāramīdṛśaṃ ca |
dhruvamatra na vardhayetpramādaṃ guṇasaṅkalpahatastu rāgameti || 65 ||

'If a man would but consider the natural state of women and this change produced in them by sleep, assuredly he would not cherish his folly; but he is smitten from a right will and so succumbs to passion.'
