The Buddha Carita (Saddharma-pundarika) by Asvaghosa a famous Sanskrit text revolving around the live and exploits of the Buddha. The Buddha Carita (Buddhacarita) is written in the style of a Kavya (or Mahakavya, epic poetry) and extant original Sanskrit text consists of roughly 1,000 metrical verses.

Verse 4.7

एवं ता दृष्टिमात्रेण नार्यो ददृशुरेव तम् ।
न व्याजह्रुर्न जहसुः प्रभावेणास्य यन्त्रिताः ॥ ७ ॥

evaṃ tā dṛṣṭimātreṇa nāryo dadṛśureva tam |
na vyājahrurna jahasuḥ prabhāveṇāsya yantritāḥ || 7 ||

Thus the women only looked upon him, simply gazing with their eyes,—they spoke not, nor did they smile, controlled by his power.
