The Buddha Carita (Saddharma-pundarika) by Asvaghosa a famous Sanskrit text revolving around the live and exploits of the Buddha. The Buddha Carita (Buddhacarita) is written in the style of a Kavya (or Mahakavya, epic poetry) and extant original Sanskrit text consists of roughly 1,000 metrical verses.

Verse 2.27

अथापरं भूमिपतेः प्रियो ऽयं सनत्कुमारप्रतिमः कुमारः ।
सार्धं तया शाक्यनरेन्द्रवध्वा शच्या सहस्राक्ष इवाभिरेमे ॥ २७ ॥

athāparaṃ bhūmipateḥ priyo 'yaṃ sanatkumārapratimaḥ kumāraḥ |
sārdhaṃ tayā śākyanarendravadhvā śacyā sahasrākṣa ivābhireme || 27 ||

Then after that the prince, beloved of the king his father, he who was like Sanatkumara, rejoiced in the society of that Shakya prinoess as the thousand-eyed (Indra) rejoiced with his bride Shaci.
