The Buddha Carita (Saddharma-pundarika) by Asvaghosa a famous Sanskrit text revolving around the live and exploits of the Buddha. The Buddha Carita (Buddhacarita) is written in the style of a Kavya (or Mahakavya, epic poetry) and extant original Sanskrit text consists of roughly 1,000 metrical verses.

Verse 1.3

सितोन्नतेनेव नयेन हृत्वा कैलासशैलस्य यदभ्रशोभाम् ।
भ्रमादुपेतान् वहदम्बुवाहान् सम्भावनां वा सफलीचकार ॥ ३ ॥

sitonnateneva nayena hṛtvā kailāsaśailasya yadabhraśobhām |
bhramādupetān vahadambuvāhān sambhāvanāṃ vā saphalīcakāra || 3 ||

By its pure and lofty system of government it, as it were, stole the splendour of the clouds of Mount Kailasa, and while it bore the clouds which came to it through a mistake, it fulfilled the imagination which had led them thither.
