Sanskrit text, Unicode transliteration and English translation by Ganganath Jha:

अन्यथा नित्यरूपा सा तेषु स्यात्कीदृशी तव ।
शक्ताशक्तस्वभावस्य यदा भेदो व्यवस्थितः ॥ २७५९ ॥

anyathā nityarūpā sā teṣu syātkīdṛśī tava |
śaktāśaktasvabhāvasya yadā bhedo vyavasthitaḥ || 2759 ||

If it were hot so, then what sort of ‘eternal thing’ would the flame be,—when there remains the difference between its efficient and inefficient states?—(2759)

Kamalaśīla’s commentary (tattvasaṃgrahapañjikā):

If it is admitted that there is difference in the Flame in the two states,—then the loss of eternality becomes inevitable.—This is what is pointed out in the following:—[see verse 2759 above]

This is easily understood.—(2759)
