atha khalu śāntamatirbodhisattvo mahāsattvaḥ tasminneva parṣatsannipāte sannipatitaḥ sanniṣaṇṇo'bhūt / utthāyāsanāt sarvabuddhaṃ praṇamya parṣanmaṇḍalamadhye sthitvā bhagavantaṃ śākyamuniṃ triḥ pradakṣiṇīkṛtya caraṇayornipatya sa yena vajrapāṇiḥ mahāyakṣasenāpatiḥ tena vyavalokya vācamudīrayati sma / atikrūrastvaṃ vajrapāṇeḥ yastvaṃ sarvasattvānāṃ sattvopaghātikaṃ kāmopasaṃhitaṃ ca mantratantrāṃ bhāṣayase / na khalu bho jinaputra bodhisattvānāṃ mahāsattvānāmeṣa dharmaḥ / mahākaruṇāprabhāvitā hi mahābodhisattvā bodhisattvacārikāṃ carante sarvasattvānāmarthāya hitādhyāśayena pratipannā bhavabandhanānna mucyante / na ca punarbho jinaputra / sattvopaghātikāṃ dharmadeśanāṃ tathāgatārhantaḥ samyak sambuddhāḥ sarvasattvānuddiśya bhāṣante mahākaruṇāsamanvāgatatvāt / sarvasattvānāṃ hitādhyāśayena pratipannā bhavanti //

atha khalu vajrapāṇirbodhisattvo mahāsattvaḥ śāntamatiṃ bodhisattvamāmantrayate sma / evaṃ hi śāntamate bodhisattvena śikṣitavyam / evaṃ pratipattavyam / yathā tvaṃ vadasi yathā tvaṃ prakāśayasi / tathā sarvabuddhāḥ bodhisattvāśca maharddhikāḥ / tathāhaṃ nirdekṣyāmi paramārthato //

acintyā hi śāntamate bodhisattvānāṃ mahāsattvānāṃ caryāniṣpanditasattvadhātunirhāram / evaṃ hi śāntamate bodhisattvena mantrajāpinā cittamutpādayitavyam / kāmamasya sattvasyārthāya bahvapuṇyaṃ prasunuyāt / mahānarakopapattiśca / na tvevāyaṃ sattvaḥ bahutaramapuṇyaskandhaṃ prasunuyāt / nāmāyaṃ sattvo trayāṇāṃ bodhīnāmabhavyo bhavet / evaṃ hi śāntamate bodhisattvena mantrajāpinā cittamupasthāpya upāyakauśalyaṃ cābhicārukaṃ ca karma prayoktavyam / sarvakarmiṣu ca nimittagrāhiṇā bhavitavyam / nākuśalagrāhiṇā sattvavaineyamupādāyatā ca śikṣitavyam / karuṇāviṣṭena cetasā //

api ca bho jinaputra dharmādharmaśubhāśubhaṃ kuśalākuśalagatimāhātmyasattvopāyavinayanirahāratāṃ dharmadhātunirahāratāṃ ca pratipapadyante buddhā bhagavantaḥ sarva eva dharmadeśanāsattvopāyapāyakāṃ ca pratipadyante / tathaiva bho jinaputrāsmābhiḥ śikṣitavyam / yaduta tvavinayanāya sattvapākānuśāsanāya ca tatrabhavanto jinaputrāḥ yo'yaṃ parṣanmaṇḍalamahāsamayopaviṣṭāḥ tatra sarvaiḥ samagraiḥ śrotavyaṃ śraddhātavyaṃ ya eva kuśalākuśalagaveṣaṇairbhavitavyam / yaduta tathāgatadharmadeśanābhiratairbhavitavyam //

atha vajrapāṇirguhyakādhipatiḥ sarvaṃ tat parṣanmaṇḍalamavalokya bhūyaḥ krodharājasya kalpaṃ bhāṣate sma / śṛṇvantu bhavanto devasaṅghāḥ ye sattvadhātunisṛtāśca sarve bhūtagaṇāḥ ādau tāvat kṛtarakṣaḥ taṃ paṭaṃ krodharājasya parigṛhya viveke sthāne sattvā ekaliṅge maheśvarasyāyatane taṃ liṅgaṃ viparudhirarājikākāñjikenābhyajya picumardapatrairarcayitvā mānuṣāntranālibhi ātmanā yajñopavītaṃ kṛtvā mānuṣaśirakapālena dakṣiṇahastena saprahāro bhūtvā vāmahastena liṅgaṃ tarjayamānaḥ paramakrodhābhibhūtaḥ avamānitaduṣṭarājānaiḥ mahāparibhavagatamānasaḥ anyairvā dhūrtapuruṣaiḥ mahāyakṣairmahādhanairmahāpracaṇḍaiḥ mahānāyakaiḥ śuddhāraṃ pithayitvā nagnako muktaśikhaḥ maheśvaraliṅgaṃ vāmapādenākramya krodhamantraṃ tāvajjapet yāvanmaheśvaraliṅgo madhye sphuṭita iti dvividalībhūtaṃ mahāṃśca huṅkāraḥ śrūyate / tato na bhetavyam / tadeho eva duṣṭarājñaḥ anyo yaḥkaścinmahāyakṣaḥ aristatkṣaṇādeva jvareṇa gṛhyate / amānuṣeṇa gṛhyate rākṣasādibhiḥ / tatraiva muhūrtaṃ japed yāvat kṣaṇādeva śatrorjīvitaṃ maraṇaparyavasānaṃ bhavati / yadi rātryantaṃ jape tatsarvakuṭumbo naśyati //

aparamapi karma bhavati / madhyāhne tathaiva maheśvarāyatanaṃ gatvā nimbapatrairabhyarcya mahāmāṃsadhūpaṃ dattvā mantraṃ japet / yāvacchatrorbhavanamagninā dahyate, śatrośca mahājvarakampo bhavati / yadi jāpaṃ na tyajate kruddho dakṣiṇamūrtaistiṣṭhate sa śatrurmṛyate gotrotsādo bhavati / atha pratyāyanaṃ karoti / bhūyo liṅgamudakena prakṣālya suśītalena kṣīreṇa snāpayet / gavyena bhūyaḥ / svastho bhavati //

aparamapi karma bhavati / maheśvaraliṅgasya dakṣiṇāmūrttau madanakaṇṭakakaṣṭhairagniṃ prajvālya vaikaṅkatasamidhānāṃ viṣarudhirarājikābhyaktānāṃ aṣṭasahasraṃ juhuyāt / sarveśatravo mahāvyādhinā gṛhyante / aśaktā bhavanti sarvakarmeṣu / dvitīye divase mahājvareṇa mahāśūlena gṛhyante vividhairvā rogaiḥ amānuṣairvā māraṇāntikaiḥ / tṛtīye divase tṛbhiḥ sandhyaiḥ sarveṇa sarvaṃ jīvitaṃ tyajante / pratyāyane kṣīraṃ juhuyāt / śāntirbhavati / sarvajanapadeṣu sarvaśatravaśca svasthā bhavanti / evaṃ sarvadevānāṃ sarvabhūtānāṃ yo yasya devatābhaktaḥ tamākramya kuryāt / tasya nakṣatramantrasaṃjñatāṃ pādenākramya vāmena karma kuryāt / varjayitvā tu tāthāgatiṃ vidyām / sarveṣāṃ ca pādāṅguṣṭhaṃ vāmena gṛhītvā karma kuryānna cākrameṇāpi calaṃyeyetkadā sarvalaukikamantrāścākramya kuryāt / asiddha eva krodharājā jāpamātreṇaiva karmāṇi karoti sarvamantrāṃ vināśayati sarvaśatrūṃ ghātayati sarvayantrāṃ pātayati / saṃkṣepato yathā yathā prayujyate sarvalaukikalokottaramantravidhānenāpi tat sarvaṃ karoti / sarvaṃ sādhayati / jāpamātreṇa sarvāśāṃ pāripūrayati / paṭhitasiddhā eṣa krodharājā uttamāṃ siddhimanuprayacchati / manasecchayā śatruṃ ghātayati mahāśūlamudrayā saṃyuktaḥ sarvakarmāṇi karoti //

aparamami karma bhavati / madhyāhne śmaśānaṃ citāvekarātroṣitaḥ kṛṣṇacaturdaśyāṃ śmaśānakāṣṭhairagniṃ prajvālya viṣarudhirāktāṃ rājikāṃ juhuyāt / tato hāhākāraṃ kurvantaḥ sarvapretā āgacchanti / (Vaidya 439) na bhetavyam / tato vaktavyaṃ śatruṃ me ghātayeti / evamastviti kṛtvāntardhīyante / tato muhūrtamātreṇa yojanasahasramapi gatvā śatruṃ ghātayanti kulānutsādayanti / evamādīni karmāṇi kurvanti //

aparamapi karma bhavati / viveke śucau deśe śucivastraprāvṛtena śūnyagṛhaṃ praviśya karpāsāsthyāhutīnāṃ aṣṭasahasraṃ juhuyāt tato taṃ bhasma ubhābhyāṃ hastābhyāṃ gṛhya śucau vastrakhaṇḍe badhnīyā pṛthak pṛthak / dvau poṅgalikāṃ kṛtvā śarāvasampuṭe sthāpya mahākṛtarakṣāścātmano dravyaṃ ca gṛhamapraviśya mahāśmaśānaṃ gatvā rātrau kṛṣṇacaturdaśyāṃ kṛṣṇāṣṭamyāṃ citau sthitvā dakṣiṇābhimukhaḥ śarāvasampuṭaṃ gṛhītvā sthitako nagnako muktaśikhaḥ sa kruddho nirbhayo bhūtvā vidyā daśasahasrāṇi japet / siddho bhavati / tad bhasma yadi kaścidamānuṣo dravyaṃ prārthayate na dātavyam / haṭhaṃ karoti krodharājaṃ smṛtvā huṅkāraḥ prayoktavyaḥ / tatkṣaṇādeva naśyate / sarvabighnānāmeṣa eva vidhiḥ / vāmadakṣiṇakaragṛhītaṃ bhasma cihnaṃ kārayet / apramattena rakṣāṃ kārayitvā āgantavyam / prabhāte sūryodaye snātvā śucinā śucivastraprāvṛtena svagṛhaṃ praveṣṭavyam / asthāne yathābhimate gantavyam / tato yo dakṣiṇahastena gṛhītaṃ bhasma tena manuṣyādvipadacatuṣpadāṃ sarvaprāṇibhūtāṃ sadevanāgayakṣāṃ mūrdhnā tāḍayed vaśā bhavanti / yad vāmena hastena gṛhītaṃ bhasma tena sarveṣāṃ manuṣyāmanuṣyāṇāṃ sarvāsāṃ strīṇāṃ mūrdhnā tāḍayed vaśyā bhavanti / dakṣiṇena yad gṛhītaṃ bhasma tena manuṣyāṇāṃ nābhideśe tāḍayet / napuṃsakā bhavanti / aṅgajātadeśena ca cūrṇayed asamartho bhavati / grāmyadharmaniṣeviṇo yasyā striyāyāṃ abhiśakto bhavati tasyāṅgajāte guhyapradeśe bhasmanāvacūrṇayet / asamarthā bhavati anyapuruṣātisevane / naṣṭavraṇā bhavati yāvantaṃ tadeva puruṣaṃ prāpnuyāt / punareva tasyāḥ tadvraṇamukhaṃ prādurbhavati / kāmamithyācāramaśakto nisevitum / evaṃ puruṣasyāpi / puruṣendriyaṃ dakṣiṇahastaṃ bhasmanāvacūrṇayet / so'pi asamartho bhavati / paradārābhigamane parimlānamiva tiṣṭhate / tasya tadaṅgajātaṃ yāvad dātravaśāt tasyaiva tat punaḥ prādurbhavati / striyasya puruṣaya yena tad bhasma punardattaṃ bhavati tasya vaśena varttati na vartati yatheṣṭaṃ taṃ karoti / yadi balāt kurvanti yeṣāṃ tu tad dattaṃ teṣāṃ guhyapradeśāni krimayaḥ prādurbhavante / yairbhakṣamānā jīvitād vyaparoṣyante / māsābhyantareṇa pūtikā bhavanti durgandhakuṇapasadṛśāḥ mahāpradararogādibhiḥ puruṣavyādhibhiḥ puruṣā gṛhyante / mahāśvethuścopajāyate / yena teṣāṃ tenaivābādhena kālakriyā bhavati / aśaktā bhavanti pratisevituṃ dāsasyecchayā / yathābhirucitaṃ tat sarvaṃ kārayati / spṛṣṭamātro yadi na prāpnoti sparśanaṃ darśanapathe sthitā adarśane anuvāte ca bhasmamutsṛjet / yathā tasya bhasmanā īṣidavadhūlitaḥ manasā ca cintayitvā dātā bhasmamutsṛjet / yat tena cintitaṃ bhavati tat sarvāṇi karmāṇi karoti / parahastena vātmanā yathābhilaṣitaṃ tat sarvāṇi karmāṇi karoti / nānyathā cāvandhyaṃ bhavati //

atha śayanāsanādīnāṃ astaraṇaprāvaraṇādīnāṃ vividhāni vālaṅkaraṇaviśeṣāṇi nānāvastrāṇi vāhanayānopānahacchatrādīnāṃ sarvāṇyupakaraṇaviśeṣāṇi bhojanapānabhakṣaṇādīnāṃ sarvāṇi śarīropayojyāni bhāṇḍopakaraṇāni puṣpantāmbūlaphalagandhadhūpādīnāṃ sarveṣutaistaṃ bhasmanāvacūrṇayet / arīṇāṃ yūkamatkuṇakrimibhiḥ samantāvaccharīramākīrṇaṃ bhavati / bhakṣate ca / vividhaduḥkhavihato bhavati / saptarātreṇa mṛyate / aśaktāḥ sarvavaidyāḥ sarvadevāśca nivārayitum / aśaktāḥ sarvamantrāḥ rakṣayitum / varjayitvā tu tena dattaṃ bhavati //

atha pratyāyanaṃ bhavati / yaṣṭīmadhuṃ nīlotpalaṃ śvetacandanaṃ caikīkṛtya śītalenāmbhasa pīṣayitvā taccharīraṃ mrakṣayet mūrdhnā prabhṛti yāvat pādatalam āryamañjuśriyamūlamantraṃ japatā / svastho bhavati //

aparamapi karma bhavati / strīṇāmanuvātaṃ gatvā yatrepsatā sarvaduṣṭaḍākinistrīṇāṃ garvitānāṃ ca prayoktavyaṃ nānyeṣām / tamenamanuvāte sthitvā bhasmamutsṛjet / manasā cintyayitvā sarvabhagastanānyapahṛtāni bhavanti / puruṣasyāpi puruṣendriyaṃ śmaśruromāṇi ca stanāni ca prādurbhavante //

evaṃ vividhavicitrāṇyanekāni karmāṇi karoti / pareṇa kārāpayati / yatra prītirutpadyate tena kārāpayati / striyā puruṣeṇa / yatra cittasya nirvṛttirutpadyate tasya tad bhasmāṃ datvā yatheṣṭaṃ kārāpayati / prayogataśca śikṣāpayet / evaṃ mahāvyādhibhiḥ gṛhṇāpayati / manasā cintayitvā mūrdhni sparśanānmastakaśūlaḥ mukhasparśanānmukhapākaḥ evamanūpūrvyā yāvaddhṛdayaṃ hṛcchūlakukṣiśūlaṃ upajāyate / evaṃ padbhyāṃ jaṅghābhiścāsṛgudbhavai rogairduṣṭaśoṇitādiṣu rogairgṛhṇāpayati / saṃkṣepato mārayati śoṣayati pācayati ākarṣayati vaśayati yathā yathā prayujyate tathā tathā tat sarvaṃ karoti / copaghātikaṃ ākarṣaṇavaśīkaraṇaṃ ca sudūre'pi sthitaḥ karmāṇi karoti / sudurgaṃ kuḍyasamīpaṃ gatvā, anuvāte sthitvā, tadeva bhasmotsṛjet / ubhau pāṇigṛhītaṃ prākāraṃ pratolī aṭṭālāṃśca prapatante / tadādhyakṣaṃ bhavanaṃ ca mahāgnidāhamupajāyate / senābhaṅgaṃ ca bhavati / mahopadravaiścopadruto bhavati / sarvamavamucya prapalāyati grahaṇaṃ vādhigacchati / evaṃ parabale'pi anuvāte bhasmamutsṛjet / mahābalasenāyā bhaṅgo bhavati / dāghajvareṇa gṛhyate / hastyaśvarathapatākādayaḥ senāpatiśca bhaṅgamupajāyate / grahaṇaṃ abhigacchati / evamanekaprakārāṇi yatheṣṭāni śatrunāśāya karmāṇi karoti / ātmano mahārakṣā ye ca svasenāyāṃ sakhāyānāṃ / atha pratyayanaṃ karoti / sarvataḥ sarveṣāṃ paṭasyāgrataḥ kṣīrāhutisahasraṃ juhuyāt / svasthā bhavanti adhṛṣyāśca //

naṭikāyā mantraḥ - om naṭi mahānaṭi āgacchāgaccha divyarūpiṇi svāhā / asyopacāraḥ - phalake paṭṭake abhilikhya māṃsāhāreṇa kṣīrāhāreṇa vidyā aṣṭasahasraṃ japtavyā / ālekhyā ca sarvālaṅkārabhūṣaṇī śyāmāvadātā vṛkṣāśṛtā ekavastrā muktakeśā, saṃraktanayanā īṣismitamukhā sādhakaṃ tarjāyamānā dakṣiṇahastena vāmena pāṇinā vṛkṣaśākhāmavalagnā sarvāṅgaśobhanā vicitrapaṭṭanivastā / tasyeva krodharājasya paṭasyāgrataḥ unmanā uttarāmukhaṃ sthitvā palāśakāṣṭhairagniṃ prajvālya gugguluguṭikānāṃ dadhimadhughṛtāktānāṃ aṣṭasahasraṃ juhuyāt trisandhyaṃ yāvat sapta divasāni / tataḥ saptame divase udārāṃ baliṃ kṛtvā ghṛtapradīpāṃśca prajvālya mantraṃ japatā tāvat tiṣṭhet yāvadardharātram / tataḥ yakṣiṇī svayameva mahāvabhāsaṃ kṛtvā svarūpeṇāgacchati / āgatā ca bravīti / kiṃ mayā kartavyam iti / tataḥ sādhakena vaktavyam - bhāryā me bhavasva iti / evamastviti kṛtvāntardhīyate / tataḥprabhṛti bhāryā bhavati / sarvakāmadā svabhavanaṃ nayati / rasāyanaṃ prayacchate / yat pītvā divyarūpī bhavati mahāyakṣapratispardhī / yadi nāgacchati dvitīye vāre krodharājasahitaṃ japenniyatamāgacchati / na ceducchuṣyaṃ mṛyate //

naṭṭāyā mantraḥ - om naṭṭe śuklāmbaramālyadhāriṇi maithunapriye svāhā / etasyaiṣa eva vidhiḥ /

bhaṭṭāyā mantraḥ - om bhaṭṭe bhaṭṭe ālokini kiṃ cirāyasi ehyehi āgacchāgaccha mama kāryaṃ kuru svāhā / eṣā vināpi paṭena siddhyate / śiraḥsthāne maṇḍalakaṃ kṛtvā gugguludhūpaṃ dahatā vidyāmaṣṭasahasraṃ japet / mauninā ekākinā śucinā dvāraṃ pidhāya māsena rātrau niyatāmāgacchati / āgatā ca kāmayitavyā bhāryā bhavati sarvakāmadā / yadyasau bhavanaṃ praviśate pañcavarṣasahasrāṇi jīvati / na cedatraiva jambūdvīpe vicarati / pañcavarṣaśatāni jīvati / tayā sārdhaṃ krīḍati / sarvājñāṃ sampādayati / tena saha yatreṣṭaṃ tatra gacchati / rasāyanamanuprayacchate / iṣṭabhāryevāvahitādhyāśayaṃ karoti //

revatyā mantraḥ - namaḥ sarvayakṣīṇām / om rakte raktavabhāse raktānulepane svāhā /

revatyā yakṣiṇī śreṣṭhā lalantyā maithunapriyā /

evamaparimāṇāni yakṣiṇī śatasahasrāṇi bhavanti / evaṃ piśācāḥ piśācamaharddhikāḥ nāgakanyāḥ asurakanyāḥ apsarā surayoṣid daityakanyā / evaṃ vidyādharīṇāṃ sarveṣāṃ sarvataḥ mānuṣīṇāmamānuṣīṇāṃ ca mantrāṇi bhavanti / asaṅkhyeyāni tathaiva yakṣāṇāṃ devānāṃ nāgānāṃ ṛṣīṇāṃ gandharvāṇāṃ asurāṇāṃ pretānāṃ rākṣasānāṃ ca mahābrahmaṇaḥ maheśvarasya mahāviṣṇoḥ mātarāṇāṃ aindrāṇi cāmuṇḍivārāhipramukhānāṃ mantrāṇi bhavanti pṛthakpṛthak sarve ca samaye ākṛṣṭāḥ iha krodharājena yamāntakena ānītā grastā samaye sthāpitā mañjughoṣasyopanāmitā anuparivārā anupūrvasthitā paricārikā sarveṣāṃ saṃkṣepataḥ yatra pratimā svayaṃ pratikṛtiṃ kṛtvā krodharājānaṃ yamāntakaṃ tāvajjapedyāvat pratibimbaṃ prakampya pracalate prasvidyati / ayaṃ svarūpeṇāgacchante / yaducyate tat sarvaṃ sampādayante //

eṣa saḥ mārṣāḥ sarvadevagaṇāḥ yamāntako nāma krodharājā yamarājānamapyānayati ghātayati śoṣayati pācayati damayati / evaṃ sarvamantrāṃ sarvadevāṃ kiṃ punarmānuṣaṃ prati duḥkhitam / daśabhūmipratiṣṭhitāmapi bodhisattvānānayati / kiṃ punarlaukikāṃ mantrām / evamaparimitabalaparākramo'yaṃ krodharājā / evaṃ sarvamantratantrabhāṣiteṣvapi sarvakarmāṇi kurute / sarvamantrāṇā yathā yathā prayujyate tathā tathā karoti / paṭhitasiddha eṣa krodharājā yamāntako nāma parisamāpta iti //

āryamañjuśrīmūlakalpād bodhisattvapiṭakāvataṃsakānmahāyānavaipulyasūtrāt pañcāśatimaḥ yamāntakakrodharājāsarvavidhiniyamaḥ tṛtīyaḥ paṭalavisaraḥ parisamāpta iti //

namo buddhāya / samāptaṃ ca yamāntakasya krodharājasya kalpamiti //
