This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 112.55

तस्मा दुरूपम् आगम्य कर्म कल्याणपापकं ।
पापानि परिवर्जेत्वा कल्याणं आचरे शुभं ॥ ५५ ॥

tasmā durūpam āgamya karma kalyāṇapāpakaṃ |
pāpāni parivarjetvā kalyāṇaṃ ācare śubhaṃ || 55 ||

Therefore with regard to the two kinds of karma, the good and the bad, one should avoid the bad and ensue the good and fair. (55)
