This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 112.54

ये च पापानि कर्माणि परिवर्जेन्ति मानुषाः ।
एकान्तकुशलाकारा न ते गच्छन्ति दुर्गतिं ॥ ५४ ॥

ye ca pāpāni karmāṇi parivarjenti mānuṣāḥ |
ekāntakuśalākārā na te gacchanti durgatiṃ || 54 ||

But the men who eschew wicked deeds, whose conduct is entirely virtuous, do not pass to the bourne of ill. (54)
