This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 112.33

यत्र सत्वा बहू रौद्रा महाकिल्विषकारका ।
चिरं कालं प्रतप्यंति अपि वर्षशतान्य् अपि ॥ ३३ ॥

yatra satvā bahū raudrā mahākilviṣakārakā |
ciraṃ kālaṃ pratapyaṃti api varṣaśatāny api || 33 ||

Here the many fearsome creatures, the great sinners, burn a long time, even for hundreds of years. (33)
