This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 103.7

चिरस्य वत द्रक्ष्याम तारकैर् इव लक्षणैः ।
विचित्रगात्रं + + + बुद्धस्य वरबुद्धिनो ॥ ७ ॥

cirasya vata drakṣyāma tārakair iva lakṣaṇaiḥ |
vicitragātraṃ + + + buddhasya varabuddhino || 7 ||

Verily, after a long time we now shall see the body of the nobly wise Buddha bright with the starlike marks. (7)
