This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 102.18

दिष्ट्या मे अभूषि दिव्यचक्षुः दिष्ट्या श्रोत्रम् अमानुषम् अभूषि मे ।
दृष्ट्वा हिमवन्ते मृत्युं वा दिष्ट्या ते समिती दृष्टा ॥ १८ ॥

diṣṭyā me abhūṣi divyacakṣuḥ diṣṭyā śrotram amānuṣam abhūṣi me |
dṛṣṭvā himavante mṛtyuṃ vā diṣṭyā te samitī dṛṣṭā || 18 ||

All hail! I have the deva-eye. All hail! I have the superhuman ear. In the Himalayas I saw Mara. All hail! Now I have seen thine encounter with him. (18)
