This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 100.6

ऋषिस्य च कालगतस्य तत्र भूतानां संक्षोभो महा अभूषि ।
तन्तस्य राज्यं सधनं सराष्ट्रं एकाय रात्रीय करेन्सु भस्मं ॥ ६ ॥

ṛṣisya ca kālagatasya tatra bhūtānāṃ saṃkṣobho mahā abhūṣi |
tantasya rājyaṃ sadhanaṃ sarāṣṭraṃ ekāya rātrīya karensu bhasmaṃ || 6 ||

When the seer was dead, there was a great commotion among the demons, and in a single night they reduced to ashes that king’s realm, his wealth and his might. (6)
