This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

मा भायथ युष्माकं न किंचित् पीडा भविष्यति ।
यो मे हस्तां च पादां च कर्णनासां च च्छिन्दति ॥ ७ ॥

mā bhāyatha yuṣmākaṃ na kiṃcit pīḍā bhaviṣyati |
yo me hastāṃ ca pādāṃ ca karṇanāsāṃ ca cchindati || 7 ||

Be not afraid that any harm will come to you. For not even with him who topped off my hands, my feet, my ears and nose... (7)
