This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 96.27

अशीति कोटीयो भूयो श्रोतापत्तिफले विभु ।
चतुर्थे आसने नीता दुर्गतीषु विमोचिता ॥ २७ ॥

aśīti koṭīyo bhūyo śrotāpattiphale vibhu |
caturthe āsane nītā durgatīṣu vimocitā || 27 ||

At thy fourth teaching eighty kotis more of devas were led to the fruit of winning the stream and saved from spheres of ill. (27)
