This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 96.23

तुह्यं लोके समो नास्ति रूपे वर्णे कुले तथा ।
ईर्यापथे च वीर्ये च ध्याने ज्ञाने तथैव च ॥ २३ ॥

tuhyaṃ loke samo nāsti rūpe varṇe kule tathā |
īryāpathe ca vīrye ca dhyāne jñāne tathaiva ca || 23 ||

In all the world there is none thy equal in form, in beauty and in birth, in deportment, in energy, in meditation, nor yet in knowledge. (23)
