This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 96.20

सगारवो सप्रतीसो ब्रह्मा कृत्वानम् अंजलिं ।
साधु ते साधुरूपस्य व्यामप्रभा प्रतिपद्यते ।
साधु अर्थान्वितं साध्यं वचनं ते मनोरमं ॥ २० ॥

sagāravo sapratīso brahmā kṛtvānam aṃjaliṃ |
sādhu te sādhurūpasya vyāmaprabhā pratipadyate |
sādhu arthānvitaṃ sādhyaṃ vacanaṃ te manoramaṃ || 20 ||

Hail to thee, hail to thy beauty. Thy radiance extends a full fathom. Hail to thy profitable, successful and charming speech. (20)
