This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 90.62

ये ते सिंहं महानागं पश्यित्वा लोकचेतियं ।
काहिन्ति विपुलां पूजां तेषां हर्षो भविष्यति ॥ ६२ ॥

ye te siṃhaṃ mahānāgaṃ paśyitvā lokacetiyaṃ |
kāhinti vipulāṃ pūjāṃ teṣāṃ harṣo bhaviṣyati || 62 ||

There will be rapture for those who, seeing Simha, the great Naga, the monument of the world, will do him great honour. (62)
