This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 87.29

तेन यशो अतुलिया च कीर्ती अभ्युद्गता दशदिशासु ।
तेन अहं विरोचामि सदेवके सब्रह्मके लोके ॥ २९ ॥

tena yaśo atuliyā ca kīrtī abhyudgatā daśadiśāsu |
tena ahaṃ virocāmi sadevake sabrahmake loke || 29 ||

“Hence is my glory unequalled and my fame gone forth in all regions of the world. Hence do I shine in the worlds of men, of devas, and of Brahma.” (29)
