This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 87.27

शिखिस्मिं पि क्रकुच्छन्दे महाप्रज्ञे कोनाकमुनि काश्यपे ।
सुमहन्ता अधिकारा कृता मया हृष्टचित्तेन ॥ २७ ॥

śikhismiṃ pi krakucchande mahāprajñe konākamuni kāśyape |
sumahantā adhikārā kṛtā mayā hṛṣṭacittena || 27 ||

“When the Buddhas were Shikhin, Krakucchanda the greatly wise, Konakamuni and Kashyapa, right great service did I render them with enraptured heart. (27)
