This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 85.19

भवतश् च त्रयो माषा तं चतुर्थं भविष्यति ।
चतुर्हि देव माषेहि उदग्रा वृषली भवे ॥ १९ ॥

bhavataś ca trayo māṣā taṃ caturthaṃ bhaviṣyati |
caturhi deva māṣehi udagrā vṛṣalī bhave || 19 ||

Your three pennies, sir, will make it four. With these four pennies my poor woman will be delighted. (19)
