This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 76.178

पृथिवी च मे विजिता सर्वकल्पा पुत्राण मे पूरसहस्रम् अस्ति ।
रत्नानि च अष्ट इमानि सन्ति एतादृशं रत्नम् अन्यं न अस्ति ॥ १७८ ॥

pṛthivī ca me vijitā sarvakalpā putrāṇa me pūrasahasram asti |
ratnāni ca aṣṭa imāni santi etādṛśaṃ ratnam anyaṃ na asti || 178 ||

“The whole earth is still my domain, and still have I a full thousand sons. And here I have eight treasures to which no other treasure is like.” (178)
