This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 76.173

पुरा तुवं भीम स्वके अगारे अन्तःपुरे देवविमानकल्पे ।
रक्षन्ति ते वर्मधरा मनुष्या सुसञ्चिताः खड्गडृढा प्रहारिणो ॥ १७३ ॥

purā tuvaṃ bhīma svake agāre antaḥpure devavimānakalpe |
rakṣanti te varmadharā manuṣyā susañcitāḥ khaḍgaḍṛḍhā prahāriṇo || 173 ||

“Formerly, O Formidable One, when at home in thy apartment that was like a mansion of the devas, men in armour kept watch over thee, champions rank on rank, doughty fighters with the sword. (173)
