This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 76.47

सो चारिकां चरित्वान विनयित्वा बहूं जनां ।
संबुद्धो परिनिर्वाये ऋषी क्षीणपुनर्भवो ॥ ४७ ॥

so cārikāṃ caritvāna vinayitvā bahūṃ janāṃ |
saṃbuddho parinirvāye ṛṣī kṣīṇapunarbhavo || 47 ||

And when he had made his journey and instructed many men, he passed away, a perfect Buddha, a seer rid of rebirth. (47)
