This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 75.110

आह च तुरंगराजा इदानिं बालाग्रां ग्राहेत्वान ।
तूर्णं प्रपलायिष्यं एतं वो मनसि कर्तव्यं ॥ ११० ॥

āha ca turaṃgarājā idāniṃ bālāgrāṃ grāhetvāna |
tūrṇaṃ prapalāyiṣyaṃ etaṃ vo manasi kartavyaṃ || 110 ||

The king of horses then said, “Now take hold of my tail. I shall be flying away at great speed. But you must bear this in mind. (110)
