This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 75.109

शरणं ते प्रपद्याम सर्वे लोके हितावह ।
अस्माकं च नेहि पारं तव वचनं ऋध्यतु ॥ १०९ ॥

śaraṇaṃ te prapadyāma sarve loke hitāvaha |
asmākaṃ ca nehi pāraṃ tava vacanaṃ ṛdhyatu || 109 ||

“We all come to your refuge, O benefactor of the world. Take us to the shore beyond. May your promise prosper.” (109)
