This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 75.101

सो च तेषां समाख्यासि हितेषी अनुकम्पको ।
यथा दृष्टं श्रुतं चैव राक्षसीद्वीपातो निःसरं ॥ १०१ ॥

so ca teṣāṃ samākhyāsi hiteṣī anukampako |
yathā dṛṣṭaṃ śrutaṃ caiva rākṣasīdvīpāto niḥsaraṃ || 101 ||

Kindly and compassionately he told them of what he had seen and heard, and of the way of escape from the island of the Sirens. (101)
