This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 75.30

आम्रकर्णिकारकुरवकतिलकवकुलशोभितं सुरमणीयं ।
अभ्यधिकं स्वशरीरैः वनं वरं शोभेन्ति सुयामा ॥ ३० ॥

āmrakarṇikārakuravakatilakavakulaśobhitaṃ suramaṇīyaṃ |
abhyadhikaṃ svaśarīraiḥ vanaṃ varaṃ śobhenti suyāmā || 30 ||

The grove was gay with sal trees and palmyra trees, full of campakas and aflame with red and yellow ashoka trees. (30)
