This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 67.93

नृत्यगीतवाद्यक्रीडाये चित्तमायाशतेन वा ।
विविधेहि उपायेहि वृत्तिं कल्पेयम् आत्मनो ॥ ९३ ॥

nṛtyagītavādyakrīḍāye cittamāyāśatena vā |
vividhehi upāyehi vṛttiṃ kalpeyam ātmano || 93 ||

“By dance and song and music and play, or by a hundred tricks of jugglery, by these various means I’ll win me a livelihood.” (93)
