This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 67.52

मम त्वं पापिकां भार्यां अम्ब आनयितुम् इच्छसि ।
न ते हं पापिकां भार्यां पादेनापि परामृशे ॥ ५२ ॥

mama tvaṃ pāpikāṃ bhāryāṃ amba ānayitum icchasi |
na te haṃ pāpikāṃ bhāryāṃ pādenāpi parāmṛśe || 52 ||

“Mother, if you bring me an ugly wife, I tell you I will not touch her even with my foot.” (52)
