This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 67.43

शक्रो हम् अस्मि देवेन्द्रो त्रयस्त्रिंशानम् ईश्वरः ।
वरं वरेहि कल्याणि यत् किंचित् मनसीच्छसि ॥ ४३ ॥

śakro ham asmi devendro trayastriṃśānam īśvaraḥ |
varaṃ varehi kalyāṇi yat kiṃcit manasīcchasi || 43 ||

“I am Shakra, lord of the devas, sovereign of Trayastrimsha. Fair lady, choose a boon, whatever your heart is set on. (43)
