This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 67.10

सो च जीर्णो भवित्वान भग्नो दण्डपरायणो ।
वेपमानेहि गात्रेहि राजद्वारम् उपागतः ॥ १० ॥

so ca jīrṇo bhavitvāna bhagno daṇḍaparāyaṇo |
vepamānehi gātrehi rājadvāram upāgataḥ || 10 ||

He made himself into an old man, bent double and leaning on his staff. With shaking limbs he came to the king’s door. (10)
