This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 65.92

अन्ये रक्षगणाः कण्ठावलग्ना प्ररोदन्ति च मन्दारवां च ।
देवा प्रवर्षेन्सु कर्कारवां च हृष्टमना वाचम् उदीरयन्ति ॥ ९२ ॥

anye rakṣagaṇāḥ kaṇṭhāvalagnā prarodanti ca mandāravāṃ ca |
devā pravarṣensu karkāravāṃ ca hṛṣṭamanā vācam udīrayanti || 92 ||

Others of the demon host sobbed and wept. Meanwhile devas rained down flowers of the coral-tree and of the karkarava, and in exultation acclaimed (92)
