This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 64.629

अमुक्त मोचेयम् असंस्कृतातो स्पृशित्व शान्तां वरम् अग्रबोधिं ।
चरे अहं दशदिशा असंप्रकंपो बुद्धित्व ज्ञानं दुःखितां प्रमोचे ॥ ६२९ ॥

amukta moceyam asaṃskṛtāto spṛśitva śāntāṃ varam agrabodhiṃ |
care ahaṃ daśadiśā asaṃprakaṃpo buddhitva jñānaṃ duḥkhitāṃ pramoce || 629 ||

“May I in my emancipated state set free the unfree. Having attained the calm, the noble supreme enlightenment, may I fare without a tremor through the whole world. Having awakened to the knowledge may I release those in misery.” (629)
