This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). Verse 64.547

Never does he delight in the enjoyment of sensual pleasures. Pure in morality, he always lives the holy life. He wanders forth and takes up life in the forest. He is assiduous in meditation and attains distinction. (547)
