This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 64.495

प्रलज्जमाने जिनवरशासनस्मिं धारेति शास्तु वरधर्मनेत्री ।
सो तं अकरित्वा शुभकर्मश्रेष्ठं नोपचक्रमे शुभं कालकर्मं ॥ ४९५ ॥

pralajjamāne jinavaraśāsanasmiṃ dhāreti śāstu varadharmanetrī |
so taṃ akaritvā śubhakarmaśreṣṭhaṃ nopacakrame śubhaṃ kālakarmaṃ || 495 ||

When the teaching of the noble Conqueror is breaking up they uphold the way of the noble dharma of the Master. He who neglects to perform this fair and noblest deed shall not come to a fair end. (495)
