This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 64.493

येषाम् इमं पुरिमसूत्रं शास्ता दशबलधारि प्रकाशि देवदेवो ।
तेषाम् इदं नराणां हर्षम् अप्रकम्प्यं भविष्यति पश्चिमे काले वर्तमाने ॥ ४९३ ॥

yeṣām imaṃ purimasūtraṃ śāstā daśabaladhāri prakāśi devadevo |
teṣām idaṃ narāṇāṃ harṣam aprakampyaṃ bhaviṣyati paścime kāle vartamāne || 493 ||

Those men to whom the Master, the Dashabala, the deva of devas, has disclosed this sutra will have unshakable joy when their last death is come. (493)
