This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 64.428

पट्टदामं ददित्वान लोकनाथस्य चेतिये ।
सर्वे स्य अर्था वर्तन्ति ये दिव्या ये च मानुषाः ॥ ४२८ ॥

paṭṭadāmaṃ daditvāna lokanāthasya cetiye |
sarve sya arthā vartanti ye divyā ye ca mānuṣāḥ || 428 ||

He who has placed a festoon of fine silk on a monument of the Saviour of the world, prospers in all his aims, both among dev as and among men. (428)
