This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 64.425

अरक्तश् च अदृष्टश् च अमूढः संवृतेन्द्रयः ।
भोति सर्वत्र जातीषु पूजेत्वा लोकनायकं ॥ ४२५ ॥

araktaś ca adṛṣṭaś ca amūḍhaḥ saṃvṛtendrayaḥ |
bhoti sarvatra jātīṣu pūjetvā lokanāyakaṃ || 425 ||

When he has worshipped the Saviour of the world he becomes in all his lives free of passion, hatred and folly, and has his faculties under control. (425)
