This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.
Verse 64.379
शीलेन परिशुद्धेन देवां पश्यति शोभनां ।
परनिर्मितवशवर्ती विमानेषु प्रतिष्ठिता ॥ ३७९ ॥
śīlena pariśuddhena devāṃ paśyati śobhanāṃ |
paranirmitavaśavartī vimāneṣu pratiṣṭhitā || 379 ||
Because of his perfectly pure morality he sees the shining Paranirmitavashavartin devas standing in their own mansions. (379)
