This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 64.297

रागाश् चाप्य् अपि च दोषा मोहाश् च तनुनो कृताः ।
यं कालं शाक्यसिंहेन प्राप्ता बोधि महर्षिणा ॥ २९७ ॥

rāgāś cāpy api ca doṣā mohāś ca tanuno kṛtāḥ |
yaṃ kālaṃ śākyasiṃhena prāptā bodhi maharṣiṇā || 297 ||

Passion, hate and folly were allayed when enlightenment was won by the Shakyan Lion, the great Seer. (297)
