This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 64.255

असन्त्रसन्तो वरबोधिसत्वो विगतभयो अतुलियो पुण्यक्षेत्रो ।
पूर्वञ् चरित्वा वरधर्मश्रेष्ठं प्रभासि लोके यथ रस्मिराजः ॥ २५५ ॥

asantrasanto varabodhisatvo vigatabhayo atuliyo puṇyakṣetro |
pūrvañ caritvā varadharmaśreṣṭhaṃ prabhāsi loke yatha rasmirājaḥ || 255 ||

The noble Bodhisattva, without a tremor, rid of fear, an incomparable field of merit, who had of old practised the noble highest dharma, shone in the world like the king of rays. (255)
