This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 64.207

यस्यैव नामं अभु काश्यपो ति समन्तवक्षुर् वरदक्षिणीयो ।
सो पि निषण्णो इह वृक्षमूले बुध्यसि वीरो वर-अग्रबोधिं ॥ २०७ ॥

yasyaiva nāmaṃ abhu kāśyapo ti samantavakṣur varadakṣiṇīyo |
so pi niṣaṇṇo iha vṛkṣamūle budhyasi vīro vara-agrabodhiṃ || 207 ||

...And he who was named Kashyapa, all-seeing and worthy, sat here, and woke up a hero to the supreme enlightenment. (207)
