This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 64.117

उत्सदप्राप्तं भवे बुद्धक्षेत्रं माराण कोटी संयोजयन्तो ।
सन्नद्धवर्मा कवचितवर्मा संग्रामकाले भवथाप्रमत्ता ॥ ११७ ॥

utsadaprāptaṃ bhave buddhakṣetraṃ mārāṇa koṭī saṃyojayanto |
sannaddhavarmā kavacitavarmā saṃgrāmakāle bhavathāpramattā || 117 ||

“The Buddha-field will be crowded. Ye kotis of Maras who are assembling, with mail and armour accoutred, be not remiss when the battle is joined.” (117)
