This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 64.100

जाम्बूनदेन यथ कांचनेन व्योमे विमाना कृतजिह्मवर्णा ।
इमे ये दिव्या इमे ये विमाना जिह्मा अभू उपगते बोधिसत्वे ॥ १०० ॥

jāmbūnadena yatha kāṃcanena vyome vimānā kṛtajihmavarṇā |
ime ye divyā ime ye vimānā jihmā abhū upagate bodhisatve || 100 ||

“As the mansions of the sky have their light broken by Jambunada gold, so are these mansions, these celestial mansions eclipsed now that the Bodhisattva has appeared.” (100)
