This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 64.90

yathāpi tūryasahasraṃ saṃpraghuṣṭaṃ upari nabhasmi sphuṭaṃ devatāhi |
hṛṣṭapramuditacittavegajāto bhaviṣyasi buddho viśiṣṭo sarvaloke || 90 ||

“And inasmuch as a thousand musical instruments were played by the devas thronging the sky above, thou, elated, glad, and eager wilt become a Buddha, unique in the whole world. (90)
