This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 64.84

स तस्य वचनं श्रुत्वा कालनागस्य भाषितं ।
तुष्टो उदग्रसुमनो बोधिमूलम् उपागमे ॥ ८४ ॥

sa tasya vacanaṃ śrutvā kālanāgasya bhāṣitaṃ |
tuṣṭo udagrasumano bodhimūlam upāgame || 84 ||

And when he had heard the words spoken by Kala the Naga, joyful and elated he went on to the foot of the bodhi tree. (84)
