This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 64.47

श्रुणित्वा अतुलं घोषं कालो नागो महर्षिणः ।
हर्षितप्रीतसंतुष्टो नागकन्यापुरस्कृतो ॥ ४७ ॥

śruṇitvā atulaṃ ghoṣaṃ kālo nāgo maharṣiṇaḥ |
harṣitaprītasaṃtuṣṭo nāgakanyāpuraskṛto || 47 ||

Hearing the matchless voice of the great Seer, Kala the Naga, attended by his Naga maidens, was thrilled, gladdened and delighted. (47)
