This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 64.3

यथा ते लोकप्रद्योत बोधिमण्डो अलंकृतो ।
तथा हि मे पृच्छितो ब्रूहि अर्थकामहितंकरं ॥ ३ ॥

yathā te lokapradyota bodhimaṇḍo alaṃkṛto |
tathā hi me pṛcchito brūhi arthakāmahitaṃkaraṃ || 3 ||

How, O Light of the world, was the throne of bodhi adorned for thee? This I beseech thee to tell me, O good and beneficent one. (3)
