This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 53.106

अस्मिं जम्बुद्वीपे रत्नानि आहरित्वा सर्वाणि ।
पूजय मातापितरं मातापितॄषु न प्रतिकुर्यात् ॥ १०६ ॥

asmiṃ jambudvīpe ratnāni āharitvā sarvāṇi |
pūjaya mātāpitaraṃ mātāpitṝṣu na pratikuryāt || 106 ||

“Honour your mother and father by bringing them all the jewels here in Jambudvipa. One should not oppose one’s parents. (106)
